The Heating Shop Guarantee
Under the United Kingdom's distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the date of delivery.
This does not apply to special order & made to order products
Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us or our suppliers unless we delivered the goods to you in error or they are faulty.
Products must be returned to The Heating Shop within 7 days of you receiving the goods in the original unopened packaging, failing which this guarantee shall automatically lapse.
If a collection is required a charge may be made and you may also have to pay a re-handling charge up to a maximum of 40% of the products. We will endeavour to keep a re-handling charge to a minimum and will be at cost only.
Made To Order Products
Some items on our website are individually made to order, once ordered and confirmed these items can not be cancelled or returned as they are made at the customers request.
Most products we provide include a manufacturers guarantee. Please refer to the individual product for details regarding this.
Delivery
Unless www.theheatingshop.co.uk. has notified you that your order will be delayed, you should receive your order within seven (7) working days of placing your order. Although you can place an order from the Web site from anywhere in the world we currently ONLY deliver to addresses within the UK. Delivery to a different address other than the card holder address is at our discretion.
You should note that in relation to this 7 day delivery expectation, time is not of the essence and liability for deliveries taking longer than 7 days is expressly excluded by these terms and conditions.
We do not advise anyone to pre-book an electrician, plumber, builder, or any installer until goods have been received and checked.
On arrival all goods must be inspected carefully for any signs of damage by the customer or agent, should you find any damage please ask the driver to take the goods back with them, or sign the delivery document as damaged, or if you do not have time to inspect properly please sign the document as un-checked.
Please open all boxes or parcels as soon as they arrive, you have 7 days to notify
customercare@theheatingshop.co.uk of any damage, shortages or incorrect items, if we are not notified of damage, shortages or incorrect items within this time, you agree to reimburse www.theheatingshop.co.uk in full against any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 7 days.
Please do not install your product if it is damaged, or incorrect as once it is installed you have agreed to it being in good condition.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
PLEASE NOTE: Our Suppliers will only make one delivery, if you are not at the delivery address to accept the delivery a charge may be made to deliver a second time.
There will be one person per vehicle and for health and safety the driver is only contracted to deliver curb side, Delivery inside a customers property is at the drivers discretion.
For large and heavy items please ensure there will be adequate assistance in helping the driver unload.
